A Coventry charity has launched an appeal to get warm winter clothing for the city's homeless.
The Coventry Jesus Centre, the home of the Jesus Fellowship church, has been open for more than two years.
Based in Lamb Street, city centre, its services include the Bridge Drop-in which caters for the homeless and disadvantaged and has received 35,000 visits by 2,100 people since first opening its doors.
Most are classed as homeless, which is defined as someone who sleeps rough or is of no fixed abode or sleeps in hostels or a friend's house.
Centre manager Piers Young said: "There are over 1,000 homeless in Coventry, which is an awful lot of people and a very depressing thought.
