Jesus Fellowship Church is well known for its success in reaching a number of the marginalised groups in our society. However, outreach has been predominantly in the evenings and at weekends. Many of the people met and helped through this express the need for constructive day time activity and support. These come from such groups as the homeless, those in vulnerable accommodation, those with drink and drug addictions, prostitutes and ex-offenders. The vision of Jesus Centres is to make access to such activity and support a
reality in as many cities and towns across the UK as possible.
A development subcommittee of the Jesus Army Charitable Trust oversees planning groups which are currently active in Birmingham.
