Here are three stories of visitors to our skills classes. We are pleased to be playing a part in bringing such hope and opportunity to visitors such as these.Published: 14th Oct 2016
HOWA* arrived in this country with no English at all, she comes from Togo and can speak fluent French. Being a very strong character, she felt frustrated at not being as good as everyone else at English and didn’t attend for a while. Six months later, she returned, much more resolute and learned to speak English very quickly – she now knows more than enough to get by and has started to translate for others in her church. She says that she loves to come to the Jesus Centre, because we treat her with respect. Little does she know how much ‘life’ she brings to us!
