Practical Help
The drop-in offers a comfortable space with friendship and support for people with housing and other social problems. Services include: food and drink, clothing, laundry, showers, post, telephone room, IT access, lockers, games and books. We offer help with budgeting, finding accommodation and looking for employment.
Skills and group work
We run a programme of educational, recreational and support groups as well as resources like the IT suite, Arts and Crafts Room and room hire for voluntary and other organizations and individuals.
Activities include: New to UK, ESOL, Conversation Practice, Toddlers Group (bring a parent), Arts and Crafts, Cookery & Sewing, Numeracy & Literacy. Active Listening and individual prayer by appointment.
The spiritual dimension
Jesus Fellowship Church holds a range of events including regular Sunday morning and evening meetings, mid-week Bible Studies, an annual New Friends Course, Fellowship lunches and Faith-film evenings. Our rooms are also hired by other churches for their events and prayer meetings.
These groups are open to all whatever your faith, or lack of it.
