Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays: 11.00am – 2.30pm

The Parlour Café is open from 11.00 am to 2.30 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  The menu includes Fair Trade tea, coffee, hot chocolate, tasty meals, soups, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, yummy puddings, cakes and special deals. We sell great wholesome food at reasonable prices.  The Parlour Café is a place to relax and enjoy a homely atmosphere.

The Parlour is a great place where people can meet up with friends over a coffee or have their lunch together. We have a knitting group that meets in our Café every Wednesday.  It is a very relaxed scene which gives people the chance to be creative, learn some new skills and also meet new people.

We have a busy men's breakfast group, "Fuel Stop",  that meets on the first Wednesday of the month from 7.15am to 8.30am, and beyond as the guys discuss hot topics and build friendships. We hold a "Young at Heart" Dementia Café here on the third Tuesday of the month, 1.00pm - 3.00pm. We have elderly folk from the local Hallamshire care home visit for an afternoon of food and fun once in a while.

We hold theme nights and other events at the Café and Centre.  We also cater for groups letting our various rooms and facilities and can deliver food locally in the S10 postcode area for events and local businesses.

Our Parlour Co-ordinator Mark Walker has just started with us in the paid post, in addition to his role as Lettings Caretaker. Mark has been a volunteer in our Café for several years, so he certainly knows the ropes, and will be introducing some changes to make our menu even better. Mark has a heart for the marginalised, so intends to leave the Cafe in hands of other team leaders occasionally and volunteer in the Lounge drop-in, when he may. We're grateful to Tracy King for stepping into the role briefly to fill a gap, and wish her the best in her role as the Activity Co-ordinator at the Hallamshire Care Home, where she is now working full time. Thank you Tracy.

We welcome you to our community Café, a place for all cultures, races and backgrounds to enjoy meeting, eating and mingling. If you have a group you would like to bring along, just come along, or have a word with Mark so he can be well-prepared to cater for your needs! We have art displays in the Cafe and the breakout area, so come along to enjoy the work of fine artists, or get in touch if you have work you would like us to display.
